The Fine Art of Colored Pencils Classes are all Online! Offered through the Yellow Barn Studio in Glen Echo, now you can take my class from home. Or anywhere! Learn the amazing capabilities of colored pencils and how to use them to their highest potential to create realism and a variety of textures as we turn a humble medium into masterful fine art in different weekly projects. Demonstrations, experimentation and critique included. All classes are recorded for you to re-watch. You will benefit whether beginner or advanced. More About the Yellow Barn Studio
The Yellow Barn Studio and Gallery is the drawing and painting residency at Glen Echo Park. Resident painter and instructor Walt Bartman’s goal is to provide a place where those interested in drawing and painting can have the opportunity to take classes with exceptional artists/ teachers, collaborate with other artists, and display and sell their work in the Yellow Barn Gallery.
The Yellow Barn Studio has one of the largest painting programs in the Washington D.C. area. Yearly, over two thousand students study at the Yellow Barn Studio. The Studio offers a variety of classes in drawing, watercolor, pastel, printmaking, art history, oil and acrylic for students at all levels representing a diversity of philosophies and approaches by the Yellow Barn Studio Faculty. The Yellow Barn Gallery hosts weekly emerging individual and group art exhibits year-round. The Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio, a non-profit organization, provides an array of programs, exhibits, and national speakers for Yellow Barn members.
